CRANIAL OSTEOPATHY

The term Cranial Osteopathy is a misnomer: it is a name we have inherited. Cranial osteopathy is one of the most gentle approaches to osteopathy and can be applied everywhere and anywhere in the body.

The fundamental principle of cranial osteopathy is to allow the body to make its own changes from within and not for the practitioner to impose a prescription of treatment from outside.

Following treatment, some patients report that they feel gentle sensations within their body; some patients are unaware and may even fall asleep. Cranial osteopathy can be very relaxing and for this reason many people like this approach because it is so gentle.
